Hi everyone! I thought I'd start this thread since the Seattle Children's Feb New Grad Residency will be opening soon. I am a new grad from NorCal, where finding a job is quite literally impossible right now. I'm wondering how competitive this residency is? My dream is to start in the NICU. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

I was considered for my second choice when I applied and interviewed, I interviewed for my first and second choice, so it's possible!! 🙂 Did anyone get an email about a phone screening today?

Not yet, last time I got one the next morning hopefully my format didn't trigger a negative ATS response but we shall see.

I haven't either and last time I heard back the next morning. Maybe HR is just delayed a bit since none of us have heard back yet! Stay positive guys haha

I applied around 2:30am when it opened. & right I know thats how it was last time. I applied and had a email to set up a phone screening the next day.

Thats OK with me tbh, I really want to work oncology. I have a job lined up with oncology for adults but I would love to do pediatrics and be closer to home. Both of my choices last time were ICU because they didn't have onc on there so figured I would give it another shot.
