Hello,
I am graduating this December, with a BSN degree, and I have already applied for my OPT. I am currently searching for a hospital that will sponsor me for an H1 visa once my OPT expires. I do not mind relocating, but I would like to live in Houston if possible. Please contact me if you have any suggestions.
Thank you.

New grads do not qualify for H1B. These are intended for specialized professionals. A year of OPT won't give you specialty experience. If you are a Canadian or Mexican citizen you can seek a TN visa.
You can look in border communities that may be short staffed and seeking licensed nurses (southern TX near the Mexican border , rural areas, North Dakota). Most major cities have an oversupply of nurses. Parts of CA have a 40% unemployment rate for new grad inexperienced nurses that are US citizens. In these areas there is little need for employers to burden the time and expense of visa sponsorship

Graduate, Pass your country board exam and maintain your license, if possible.
I would look into getting another degree in the IT field. "High tech" worker, in the computer-related jobs consistently account for a large share of the H-1B visa petitions.
I am located in North Dallas area and they are bringing over massive amounts of H1B workers to fill in the demand for IT.
IT will pay almost double what a RN will pay in Texas.
