Hi everyone ?
I noticed that the only forums about SCVMC's (Santa Clara Valley Medical Center) new grad/clinical nurse I positions were from 2022, so I was hoping to start a new one for this year as interviews roll around and new positions become available.

Good luck! I'm also a new graduate registered nurse. I precepted in the PCU! I heard there's going to be a mix of technical and behavioral questions.

For me, it was a job posting on the SCC government website for a Clinical Nurse I position requiring (I think) 6 months or less of acute care experience. I'm not sure exactly, though!

Thanks. I did not precept in PCU or ICU, so I am kinda worried because I felt I didn't stand a chance compared to candidates who have one. Do you know how many they are hiring? Thanks

I'm really not sure at all, though I heard PCU has a high turnover rate and is looking for positions to fill. I think as long as you're confident and deliver really good answers during your interview you'll definitely be fine!

I hope so too. Did you apply only to PCU? or you are applying to other critical units?

Hi! Is anyone attending the job fair tomorrow for SCVMC's critical care training program? Does anyone have any interviewing tips for IICU/CCU/PCU?
