Alright everyone - I searched and found this was brought up a while ago, but I have a question that wasn't specifically adressed:
I'm starting a new job in 2 weeks and have to get all new scrubs, as at my old employer we wore hospital issued scrubs. I am scheduled for an embro transfer in a couple months and hopefully will be pregnant after that. I wanted to get scrubs now that will still fit me then. I normally wear a medium drawstring pants. If I buy large, will that get me through okay? Also, I was going to get the button down scrubs tops so when I get bigger, I can just wear them unbuttoned. Any brand work better for people than others?? I normally wear more fitted scrub tops, but know this won't be practical in a few months.
Thanks,
Elizabeth RN

The only things I had to get new ones of were pants. In the end I wore some white stretch pants I had for everyday wear. My tops got a little tight but I didn't have to get larger ones. An OR nurse who was pregnant at the same time as me just wore bigger drawstring pants, as you mentioned.
BTW, GOOD LUCK!!!!!

I never wear scrub tops,so normally I would just buy maternity tees and wear them. For the pants, they tell you to buy your size in the maternity pants.....what Idid was just buy a few sizes up in the draw strings.

I wore draw strings one size larger. Scrub tops didn't fit me past 6 months so I wore solid color maternity tops with jackets over them. You won't have to buy new jackets if you don't button them. Who has to know that you CAN'T button them? :chuckle
