Scrubs: Made in the USA?

Published

Hello,

I wanted to support the local/national economy and buy US Made Scrubs (in White-as required by our work)! But, to my dismay, I cannot find any good scrub bottoms. I found a few tops and ordered some from Duck Scrubs, but the bottoms were see thru. Also saw some other sites and the pants looked either see through, or tight around the ankle, or had no pockets, or were simply not available in white. Even 'eco friendly' scrubs that were expensive as heck were not available in white.

Any tips or leads on good quality non see through white scrubs made proudly in the USA?

Thanks!

Check this website out: http://www.americansworking.com/uniforms.html

It contains a list of American-made uniforms, scrubs, and work wear. However, you have probably seen this website before during your various searches.

Scrub Med: http://www.scrubmed.com/

According to Scrub Med's website, all of their uniforms are made in the USA.

Hice Scrubs: http://hicesewing.com/

According to their website, all of their uniforms are made in the USA.

I couldn't agree more that it's important to support American workers. Nurses could play a huge part in putting manufacturing back on the U.S. map. I have found two companies that make their scrubs in America.

They sell multiple brands, but the "Green Scrubs" line is made in San Francisco. They incredibly affordable and comfortable. It's very nice to call a phone number and have someone you can understand is very helpful on the phone. I love their cargo pant.

They, too, sell multiple brands, but the "Scrub Med" line is made in Portland. I wear their flare leg drawstring cargo pant. What's great about them is that once you know your size, they can completely customize them for the perfect fit. Everything is on their website but I call their 800 number so I can talk to someone and they've always been incredibly nice. It makes me feel good to know that my purchase is going directly to an American worker just trying to their support their family as I am.

On a side note, I also buy my shoes from Klogs.com. They're very similar to the more expensive, imported Dansko brand but are more affordable. Their polyurethane line is completely made in the USA. I personally like them because they're antimicrobial, non-marking, and I can easily wipe them off after my shift.

I just ordered from Banana Scrubs...made in Texas! Couldn't be happier with my order. Prices are really reasonable, too.

Aviator Scrubs has a factory in Texas

Also ordered from Banana Scrubs and couldn't be happier with the selection, quality and price! :)

Anyone looking for scrubs MUST check out Performance Scrubs (Home). They're manufactured in the USA and are by far the most comfortable scrubs I've come across and the site allows you to customize your own style, colors, etc. which I thought was awesome. I gotta emphasize the quality of comfort - even my roommate keeps borrowing my spare pair of bottoms to use as pajamas...

Prima by Barco is Barco's all white line. It's an optic white, so it'll be a bright, stark white in whichever light you stand. The fabric is also put through a peaching process which ensures that it isn't see through. Plus, I believe it's made by Miliken, a US based company.
