scrubs fashion?

I'm a new nurse, so I don't really have a lot of scrubs collected yet. I am looking for some that are actually fashionable and cute; I'm so sick of wearing plain white baggy scrubs at clinicals! Plus, I normally wear fun, unique clothing, and I would like to keep that part of my personality with me while at work. : )

Now that I have an actual job (we don't have any specific color we have to wear, YAY!) I am wanting to find some scrubs that are fitted enough so I don't look (and feel LOL) like I'm in my PJ's, but that are still comfortable and allow me to move around easily enough to do my job.

Since I'm new to this, I thought I'd check with you lovely people and see what kinds of scrubs you like! Any recommendations for brands or styles?

I love the "lindsay" bottoms by Koi. Koi also has some crazy pattern tops that you might like.

I am a fan of Iguanamed (although they don't have enough pockets) and NrG by Barco. I have to wear solid colors, so I pick brands based on fit - no potato sacks allowed, and no waistbands that come up to my armpits. I love the Iguanamed fabric (no pit stains! lovely), and the fact that it stays crisp throughout the day.

When the solid colors get too boring, I try to flash it up with a headband or some leopard-print dansko's. Sort of pathetic but you have to work within the confines of the job :rolleyes:

Jockey makes some beautiful scrubs which are a poly-blend. I like the ones with the empire waist. They are actually true to size, though, not like other brands that sometimes run a little big. They NEVER wrinkle. Ever. I think that solid colors look more professional than prints (IMVHO people, don't shoot me).

I know they are adorable, I love this company they have the cutest stuff. My friend who works in a pediatrics practice just got the cutest scrubs from there with a kid's design on the pocket. Sooo cute :)

I ordered a few pairs.. I got the one with the bear on the pocket, the children around the world, and the lizard on the pocket! I hope they fit nice! I might do a custom photo after I see how they fit!
