Hey everyone! Wanted to start a post since there isn't one yet. I applied right when the applications open and my application still says "submission received".
This is my second time applying, I interviewed for the last cohort but was not selected.
Post any updates here! :)
Last time the e-mail they sent out informing you of an interview had the specific Scripps hospital you would be interviewing for. When I got in the interview there were four different hiring managers and each one was from a different floor of the hospital. Whatever hiring manager chooses you is the floor you would get assigned to. I also asked the lady how they picked people for what hospital and she said you interview with whichever Scripps hospital based on zip code. For example I live close to Scripps Mercy so my interview was with the Scripps Mercy panel :)
Question for the people who have heard back:
- did you have your CA license at the time of application?
- did you have any prior experience (obviously less than 12 mo) as an RN?
- do you have ACLS certification?
I am applying from out of state, so I have no idea what they're really looking for despite their job qualifications stating that you don't need your license at the time of application. Thanks!
I have not heard anything positive or negative yet, but no email....so I guess that's negative? I know a few people's status actually changed to "no longer under consideration", but mine still just says submission received. Anyone else in the same boat?
Same. I stay hopeful until I get the rejection email.

I have not gotten an interview invitation from Scripps but my status has changed to "Hiring Manager Review"
- Yes, I have my CA license at the time of application but I have heard of fellow peers getting hired on before having a their RN license. You need to have your license by the residency start date.
- Yes, I have about 2.5 months of RN experience.
- Yes, I have my ACLS cert.
Good luck!

Does anyone know when they will start making calls for interviews once the status changes to "under hiring manager review?" Thank you!
