Scripps new grad program summer 2013

Thought I would post another thread on here for the scripps new grad program starting this summer as applications are open for internals and soon will open for externals. I myself am an internal, applied Monday, and have an interview already set for May 7th... Good luck to all!!!

I recently moved from San Diego and left Scripps Green DOU. It's an awesome group of nurses. The preceptors are great and the night supervisors are the absolute best. I hope you will enjoy it and you can learn a TON there. Good luck!

I was wondering the same thing. I emailed someone from Scripps and she said they were running behind due to the holiday weekend. We should hear from them by the end of the week. Congrats on getting hired! Where are you going to be?

Thanks Sommerelkins! How do you find professionals to help with interviewing? Are they listed on websites like craigslist, or is there an actually agency that helps people? I would definitely be interested in learning more about that. I actually live in the LA area, but I have no ties here (no spouse, kids, etc), so I'm willing to move anywhere. Is it possible you can PM me that info (if its not too much trouble)? :)

Coconutgirl14 - sorry it took me so long to respond! I actually have no idea where to find more people like her because I was referred to her from a friend and this is a lady who just started her own business.

She may be able to do work via Skype or refer you to resources that may be helpful to you.

Interviewed on May 6th and got an offer from Scripps for Encinitas Surgical. Hope to hear from those of you hired there!!! Excited to meet you all!! Congrats to those who got offers. For those that didn't don't lose hope. Heard Scripps will hire again in the fall.

DziRN - I got hired there too on the same unit! Congrats! Are you living in SD already or are you moving there?

I JUST received mine this afternoon. They said they were running behind due to Memorial/holiday wknd.
