Scripps new grad program summer 2013

Thought I would post another thread on here for the scripps new grad program starting this summer as applications are open for internals and soon will open for externals. I myself am an internal, applied Monday, and have an interview already set for May 7th... Good luck to all!!!

I'm also wondering about the DEU.. is the DEU interviews done for June and/or August start?

From my understanding of the situation, it was for both start dates... But I could be wrong!

I interviewed May 6 for LJ DEU August cohort and received a phone call yesterday!

Hello Everyone! Sorry for joining in so late..but I wanted to give you guys an update regarding the waiting game. First off, I'm internal and applied for the new grad residency on May 7..and no I have not received a call or email regarding my status. Many have heard May 20th will be the latest that we would be hearing back. I called the employment center and spoke to some people and heard that they have extended the wait to 30 more days due to having so many people to contact. Unfortunately, for some of us, the waiting game has just started.

Keep your hopes up everyone. I interviewed on May 7th and got a call yesterday!! I will be placed at Scripps Memorial Hospital, Encenitas :) Anyone else hear back that interviewed on May 7th at 12:30? Chicago Girl?

For those who haven't heard back yet like me, just hang in there. We will get a call or an email anytime soon :yes:

They do let us know either way right? Ugh. The waiting is terrible.

Wow..30 more days added to the wait? That's straight painful :( Guess I'm gonna go back to my daily job hunt and try to remain calm.

Yeah it's tough..I try my best to keep myself busy and keep myself moving just to keep my sanity. Stay positive, it's not over yet. :up:

Nope have not heard anything yet, I am keeping my fingers crossed :) Still trying to stay positive and sane at the same time. Trying not to check my email/phone every two seconds as well! LOL!
