Scripps New Grad Nurse Residency January 2025

Hi! I just wanted to start a thread for the Scripps January 2025 new grad program since I haven't seen one yet! Just so we can all keep each other updated on the process! Best of luck to everyone (:

Unfortunately, Scripps is not union. From what I have heard/seen they do prioritize applicants who are internal hires like most other local San Diego hospitals.

Hi everyone, any updates? My status hasn't changed. It still says under review. My application was sent to DOU Chula Vista. I know we have til Nov 08 to be invited for an interview, so I am trying to be hopeful.☺️

I had an interview for surgical acute yesterday. They said I'd hear back within a week for a possible second interview round.

I also had an interview yesterday. mine was for medical acute at encinitas. they said all new grads train on the dedicated education unit at la jolla and then go to the unit at their location after. the interview yesterday was with the leadership for the DEU, second interview would be with the leadership team at the location your app was sent to. good luck everyone! fingers crossed we all get that second interview 🤞🏻

congrats to those who have interviewed already!! were the questions mostly behavioral based or were they more general in this first round?

If people were going to get an in person interview they would have heard by now right?

it was pretty brief on behavioral questions and there were several clinical questions asked! my friend that interviewed for chula vista had no clinical questions and a lot more behavioral questions.

Hi everyone 🙂 I am interviewing on Monday and it's my first new grad interview. Besides preparing answers to questions, does anyone have any tips? And did everyone who interviewed create and bring a portfolio? Thank you guys!
