  1. Unfortunately, Scripps is not union. From what I have heard/seen they do prioritize applicants who are internal hires like most other local San Diego hospitals.
  2. Did anyone get the affirmative action email? I got one asking for optional self identifiers and a second email saying my info was forwarded to hiring managers. Also, anyone get contacted by Green?
  3. No worries! I wish you luck. I know this part is nerve wracking. I hope you get it!!
  4. My reference form was an online portal and my references had to fill out a survey about me. They had a fast turn around luckily so that was about 3 days total. Once that was submitted it took approximately a week before I got an offer call/letter.
  5. I got both of those and got an offer. People from previous new grad cohorts seemed to think it was a good sign. I would think it means you're at least in a very narrowed down selection of candidates!
  6. I was called for an interview, but ended up turning it down, because I had accepted a new grad with a different health system. I'm still not sure about the letters of rec or headshot.
  7. About 6 days, but only 4 business days.
  8. That's a good sign! Which location? I got an offer after references.
  9. Hey I'm applying to the upcoming cohort. Do they still want 2 letters of rec and a headshot? I didn't see anything about that in the application, but it mentions that on their new graduate residency page. I'm hesitant to ask for letters of rec and pay for a headshot when I don't even know if I have an interview? But if I wait until I know I have an interview Ill have to scramble. Also, none of the other local hospitals have asked for this (except Rady's preferred a letter of rec).
  10. Wondering how long after "checkster" online reference check closed until you or your classmates heard a final decision...
  11. OK. Wow. I'm gonna try to stay calm until I hear back for sure. Thank you for the insight!!
  12. I'm applying for Summer 2024. I was curious if anyone from the previous cohort got asked for references and didn't get the position? I've been asked to provide references and fill out an RN experience form, but wasn't told much other than that. No one from the unit called etc...just communicating with HR.
  13. I wouldn't be discouraged. It sounds like only one specific unit at Grossmont decided to start so early!
  14. Finished a neuroscience interview at Grossmont. They said it could take time to find out, stay aware of emails for next steps, and that if we don't get our first choice interview we may have opportunities to interview with other units. It was very fast paced! Wishing everyone luck. I interviewed as well. It sounds like that unit started early with interviews!
