Scranton University CRNA 2017

Published

I'm starting this thread to see if anyone else has heard from Scranton University on their CRNA class of 2017 interview?

Got an interview offer this morning. Pretty excited!

Has anyone interviewed, Can anyone pass along insight as to how they ask their questions? more clinical or personal questions? How fast do you think we will hear back from them?

Do you know what is the interview process like?

Does anyone know anything about the interview process? I'm interviewing next weekí ½í¸£

I just interviewed at Scranton last week and it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. There was a brief (10 question) quiz on some pretty general stuff and you are with a group of 4-5 applicants for the first half of the interview. The director goes over some basic information (what to expect, clinical sites, etc) and there are some students who are currently in the program there to answer questions as well. After the general overview, each applicant is taken individually to meet with a small panel of faculty. The questions asked are mostly personal, with a few anecdotal questions thrown in about your own experiences. Overall, the interview provided some great information about the program and was not as stressful as I had anticipated. They said decisions should be out by about the second week of December, though we may end up hearing earlier. Good luck to everyone!

Thank you for your response! It makes me feel little more prepared. Just out of curiosity- did you have to answer questions about neuromuscular blockers and how they work?

THANK YOU so much for giving a quick run down of the interview! :)

I just came across this thread. Like Meghan said, it was definitely a personality-based interview. They said that personality was the admission's team's evaluation focus since they already knew that their applicants are intelligent and knowledgeable people. The interviewers/staff were very nice!

I received my admission letter and plan to accept. I'd like to get in contact with others who also plan to start at Scranton during the Fall of 2017. Good luck to everyone!

I have also received my acceptance letter!

I have also received my acceptance letter!
