I wanted to start this thread for all the 2013 hopefuls.I believe the internships closed yesterday so now we play the waiting game.;)I applied to the ER and ICU.Good luck everyone.

Hello, all! Some of you have been asking about hearing from the ER. I received a call from them last Thursday for a phone interview which they said would decide if they wanted to interview me in person. Last Friday they called again and I had my interview today. They gave me a tour of the unit and I met with two nurse managers. They were so friendly and really seemed excited about what they do and hiring new grads.

Did they mention anything about the number of people they are accepting this cohort? Or when you'd be hearing back? Hope it went well for you.

@BlueGrassGreenSkies They told me they are finishing up interviews by the 19th of April and that I should hear either way by the 22nd of April. This is all from the ER though, I'm not sure what the other departments are doing or what their timeline consists of.

@gaby3187 Any time, I know how frustrating it is to not know what's going on when you are applying for jobs! I hope you hear something soon!

Hi everyone!

I went to an open house back in March for April and May grads and was interviewed and hired on spot! I'm actually in Houston, graduating with my bachelors in May so I will be relocating. I'm excited :) good luck to everyone applying!! Keep in touch and I will be keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!

I did phone interview just today!!! I have a good feeling after! Hopefully i got it!

Anyone have any updates regarding their status? Just anxious to hear if things are moving along and I should stop holding my breath :)

I applied and got an OR interview and was supposed to hear last week. I'm guessing they are trying to recover from the West disaster but I'm on pins and needles.

About a week ago I got an email that said all spots were filled for ICU. The director was VERY nice. I appreciated his email. During the interview he said he believed Med Surg had already wrapped up it's picks. That was about 2 weeks ago. So who knows...

I know most of the interviews were being done a few weeks ago...just because I kept tripping over people in the hall. ;) but don't give up complete hope, they have been known to add late, I was one.
