Scott &White January 2014 nursing residency

Hello,

anybody pursuing it? Does anybody have anything to share? I am bit discouraged by Seton nursing residency, as the competition is so tough it is hard to breathe.... Hope, S&W will have something better to offer.

Any feedback welcome!

tat_nurse, have you gotten a call for an interview yet? I'm still waiting by the phone.. lol

yes, I got called. a PRN position at STC 4. Have you heard anything about it?

nope, haven't heard anything. I applied for FT 5N (trauma)

I'm also an out of state applicant so maybe thats why I haven't gotten any calls.

I also applied for the FT acute care position and my status just says submitted. I'm afraid to contact HR just because I don't want to get on their bad side.

I called the HR manager today and she said that the 5N position has been filled :(

I am having the same problem! I am definitely qualified, but keep getting the "we are pursuing applicants that better fit our needs".....blah blah. For almost a year now, this is the same email I get. I am also an out of state applicant. Maybe it has something to do with Taleo....the recruiting software. We don't have enough specific key words in our resume/cover letter.
