hello people... i've been asking questions and i'm so happy people are willing and taking the time to share their opinion. thank you. Anyways, i just have a question for those that went to nursing school or are going to nursing school that find science/math hard. What i mean is that science and math don't come naturally to you. We all have areas that come naturally to us without much struggle. I'm asking those that struggle with science and math. I am one of those and i'm thinking of going to nursing school but i'm scared to death about science/math. It doesn't come naturally to me. SO, question, how did you make it? or how are you making it if science isn't your thing?
I'm not so good at science and math either. I often feel discouraged and I'm only in my first semester of my prerequisites. I agree with the above poster about attending office hours and tutoring sessions. It really helps and it also shows your professor that you care about whether or not you pass the course. Continue to put your best foot forward. You're going to do just fine.

Well I can tell you what I am doing now. Youtube, google, and repeat. With the obessive amounts of info on the net there is plenty out there to help get you or shall I say us through. GOOD LUCK TO U!
I learned that the more I said to myself "I am a math person" the better I did in the subject. Right now, I'm taking stats and my professor includes algebra at the end of every class. The more I do it, the more I say to myself "I love math." Now, realistically, I do not love it but I understand it now because I'm not beating myself up saying how much I suck in it.
It's mind over matter. Believe it, and you can do it.
