Science courses and deaconess

I was looking at taking my sciences through edukan. 1 Question: how have you all worked your fiancial aid into paying for the science courses? I plan to hopefully have all of my education covered through federal loans, but how do you split up the portion going to deaconess then the portion going to the sciences? thanks for the help!

To my knowledge only one school will be assigned for your FA. I had the same situation but if anyone knows if this is possible I hope they post.

Opalm - Did you just pay out of pocket to the schools for your sciences then? I'm just trying to figure out the finances for all of my schooling. Thanks so much for your response.

welcome to allnurses!

i had the same experience as opalm. the fa went to one school and i used other loans to pay for my supporting science classes. the annoying thing about this is that the science classes are sooo expensive;)

the best way to find out is to call one of the loan guarantor such as citibank and wachovia.

good luck!

i'm going through the same thing. I am doing two degree simultaneously but my business degree is expensive. I am using my financial aid to pay for health administration degree. Luckily many of my core subjects are the same for both degrees (thus the logic in doing them together) but my business degree does not have the same science requirements as my nursing degree. I am also taking classes through Edukan and I have to pay out of pocket. I got a small Pell refund but it came around Christmas time...need I say more? I am using some of my tax refund to fund my A&P I class in February. I get another Pell refund in March and I will use that to fund my next Edukan course.
