Schools with Shorter Length BSN Programs

Hi All!
I've just started to search for Nursing Schools online, and was wondering if anyone knows of any schools that offer an Accelerated BSN program for non-BA or non-BS holders. I have found one school that allows one to complete their BSN program in 16 months (this track is all year long) , and wanted to know if there were other schools like this.
Although it will be 1.5 years of non-stop learning, I am willing to put myself out there so I can enter the work force much sooner.

I've never heard of an accelerated BSN program that took non-degree holders.

I know Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) offers an accelerated BSN for people without degrees, but it is still 32 months from start to finish and is year-round. They also do an accelerated 2nd degree program (16-month) and will accept people without a degree, but they must have a substantial number of college credits and must meet the school's gen ed requirements (students who already have a BA/BS do not need to do the latter).

Other accelerated programs may have a similar allowance where you can be admitted with a substantial number of college credits but no degree, but you'd have to ask around and I would assume that those schools are going to be looking for 4.0 GPAs, etc.

Grand Canyon University in Phoenix has an accelerated program that admits students with prior bachelors degrees -OR- 90 credits.

MUSC takes people without degrees for their accelerated BSN but you need a ton of prereqs.

U. of Colorado Health Sciences takes students w/o a Bachelors but you have to have about 2 years of prerequisites. The accelerated is 19 months, the regular is 24 months.

MCPHS is an excellent program; they do allow you to take the clep exam for some of your courses but my credits were almost 8 years old and they took them all; the faculty is excellent; I've had no problems; My gpa was a 3.47 not that high with no medical experience;;;i would say go for it and apply you never know and good luck!

University of Missouri - St. Louis offers a 15-month accelerated BSN program for students that have completed at least 62 credit hours and the required prereqs. It runs from May through August of the next year. The website is: Bachelor of Science Nursing Accelerated Program

The University of South Alabama offers a 12 month BSN program. They generally prefer you to have a prior bachelors degree before starting the program but it is not required.

The regular BSN program is a total of 21 months.:monkeydance:
