School hasn't even started yet...

... and I've seen 2 students, from the same classroom. TWO. In the grand scheme of things, 2 is a wonderfully low number, but still, I saw the first kiddo at 7:55. The second shortly after, and both before the tardy bell had sounded. I get it, everyone has hit the wall and we are all ready for summer break. How about keeping them in class (if they even made it that far!) for a bit to see if they settle in?

LOL I wish!! It is not all getting done this summer. They have been building around us on open ground for the last year. Some classes will move into that new part, so the main building can be torn down. Then they will build again all this coming year, so the rest of us can move at the end of next year. Its been very interesting. For this next school year we won't have an auditorium/stage, library or playground.

Can I come and work there? June 1st is too much for meh! D:

I haven't been busy (I hear Karma coming now), but the secretaries office is right outside my door. We have 7 days of school left. And there were 2 familes that stopping in this morning to register their kids.....with 7 days left of school. Really??

We just got a family of 5 last week! Our city school system here goes year round now. So some of the parents have figured out if they switch them to the county they can still be off in the summer and start them back at the city next August and they are out all their breaks! Shake my head!

Yesterday was horrible. I told some of the staff I felt like I was in Mr. Rogers land of make believe! I saw i dont know how many "invisible bug bites" an "invisible rash". One girl got "stung" on the eyelid and there was nothing! Not even a red mark. I was give out by 10. I finally started sending notes back that said "Ive done all I can do for this problem. They need to stay in class". I know we are all tired. I cant imagine how tired the teachers are but we have got to persevere!

I get so many of these and the teachers want me to give them bandaids. For what? I do not see anything that needs a bandaid.
