Looks like you also need to be enrolled in classes. Wonder if they will offer this scholarship again in the future?

There's no reason why they shouldn't because they're getting the money from Johnson & Johnson. The Johnson and Johnson company is big on promoting the nursing profession these days which is why they started the discovernursing.com scholarship and nursing resource website.

Thanks for the link to the Men's Nursing Association (AAMN)--open to students, too. They're planning on issuing a newsletter in the future. I remember my undergrad Management-Labor Course professor stating that part of the reason nurses began earning more $ (back in the early-to-mid 1980's) was perhaps due in part to the increase of men in the profession who--for whatever reason--may fight harder for better wages/benefits...doesn't sound too nice, but this suggests the image of steelworker strikes in the early 1900's with men beating up people on the picket line--ouch--but nurses heal and don't hurt of course...

My aunt told me that you can do a search on the Net (for a small fee) and enter in your age, sex, etc. and have all the available scholarships listed for you. Does anyone know of this service, or any other male nursing scholarships available?
If it requires a fee then it's a scam, unless it's some kind of honor roll program.

Why pay a fee when you can search scholarships for free at fastweb.com and discovernursing.com?
Hey Tony, could you post if you find any scholarships?
Thanks

call me crazy, but it may have something to do with the fact that the thread is over 3 years old
