Hey guys, I have a question for those of you who have successfully taken A&P 1. I am trying to figure out my schedule for next semester when I will begin this class. I spoke to my nursing advisor and she suggested that I take A&P1 by itself. I currently work about 38-40 hours per week and am currently taking chemistry, med terminology, and a reading/comprehension class...and I'm okay with it. Its a lot of work and I don't have a social life, but I'm okay with that and I expect that since I'm enrolled in college AND working. I would really like to work 35-40 hours per week when taking A&P1, so my question is...would you recommend taking any other classes with this considering my work schedule? Just trying to get some different thoughts on this. Not sure if I should take my advisors "advice" or if I should go ahead and register for another class as well while working full-time. Thanks for your help!!

If you're okay with Chem along with 2 other classes right now.. I bet you could squeeze one other class to do with A&P.

good question, I too was wondering what I should take together for prereqs. Would AP1 and micro be too much together?

My advice would be, IF you take another class WITH A&P, make sure it's NOT a time consuming class. I would not suggest taking MICRO AND A&P together, they are both heavy study-time classes, and working with it will exhaust you. Maybe an easy class like communications/speech or something not requiring a ton of study time. I'm taking A&P I right now, and took micro last semester, and am SO glad I didn't take both together! I don't work, but I'm a full-time mom to 5 kids, so I have a heavy work load at home, lol!
