The second letter was all about orientation...maybe only some got it...that is strange. Either way i guess we will know more at orientation.

I sent an email to the department to make sure the website is updated/correct for clinical sites. I will let everyone know what I hear.

How do I find out what books we need - online it says "to be determined" and my friend in the DAY program already bought her books already... Do you go to the bookstore with your schedule and they know? This is my 1st time going to SCCC I was in Farmingdale ( it was closer to my job) while I waiting to go to Suffolk....

Which orientation are you all going too? I'll be at the evening one 6/6 Cant wait.. Did anyone buy their name badge or patch yet? I still don't see the books online yet

So did anyone else think they throw a lot at you at orientation, I was in the evening one, was anyone else at the evening one?. Going away for a few days (probably last time for a while) then I have to start buying everything on the list and start reading! Good luck all!

I was at the evening orientation too. I was more worried about the costs of things! I have to figure out how I will pay for everything! The info itself was really not much more than we already knew. But the ati stuff threw me for a loop! And I wish that they spent more time on uniform requirements. The handbook says no scrubs and it's hard to find a nursing uniform that does not fit in the category of "scrubs".

I ordered a proof for the middle size ( that said popular) tag -

The costs are crazy - 400 for that ATI and that seems like a much needed resource!

I know the Uniform issue was a bit vague - but the places that gave us probably sell to SCCCC students all the time they will know which we need..
