SCC/ARC Fall 2021 Sac City/American River College

Anyone else submit their apps for SCC or ARC for fall 2021?I submitted my SCC packet last week and ARC the other day. I was hoping my online app status would change to received but it still says submitted

I haven't gotten anything from SCC, neither my status has changed from received ever since I have applied. that's weird, because I see that people already has gotten their acceptance/rejection email. does that mean I did not even qualify?

It has changed to qualified for ARC.

It has changed to qualified for ARC.

 

wouldn't it be amazing if they simplified things?  I feel like this entire process can be made easier on us and them.  I am sure they don't want all of use who didn't get in calling and asking the same question.

Absolutely,

The whole process of taking prereqs for two years, taking TEAS and applying to multiple schools is already stressful enough. 

Now on top of all that we have to stress out on this waiting game.

My status still says received for both LVN and RN at SCC even thought I got rejection letters. It doesn’t appear they change it. Some now I’m anxiously waiting on ARC that did change last week to qualified.

ARC does it separately. So you apply for Spring and apply for fall. SCC does both at one time.

To apply for Spring 2022 you can apply starting sept 1, 2021

Ugh...

seriously, I started the process and then stopped, and restarted 15 years later.  With all the rules to retake prereqs, expired prereqs etc. it seemed better to fake my own death and create a new identity and start fresh LOL

Got my rejection letter for Sac City... which I kinda expected. Now hoping for ARC
