Anyone else submit their apps for SCC or ARC for fall 2021?I submitted my SCC packet last week and ARC the other day. I was hoping my online app status would change to received but it still says submitted

I understand that we won't be contacted if we don't get selected, that was not my misunderstanding.  My question was, where did it say that they would not utilize the statuses and just leave you on "application received" and never update it to "rejected" "qualfied" "not qualified" etc?

this is what I found, which says applicants will be evaluated, and have their multi criteria forms confirmed, then selected.

"Once the application acceptance period ends, all applications are evaluated, and multi-criteria scores confirmed. Applicants will be selected at random, and once 30 qualified applicants and 10 alternates have been selected for Fall and Spring semester, the evaluation process ends."

same, but when I got different responses every time I asked about how to submit it, it made me nervous

It doesn’t say on their site anywhere that they won’t use the status changes. People are just going on what they have done in previous years. In past years SCC has not updated the status past application received. It might be a good idea to contact them just in case something was wrong you’ll know for the next round. Good luck!

I think for your situation it would be best for you to send them an e-mail.

I hope you get it figured out asap ❤️

I did, but it takes 3-5 days for a response, I was just putting it out there in case anyone knew the answer before then.

If the phlebotomy cert was necessary to get you over the 70 points, then that's stressful indeed! If you're already over 70 points without the phlebotomy cert, then not so much...

My case was almost similar in that I also had coursework from other colleges and universities, some more than 25 years ago, with name and course catalog number changes. I had to show the entire line of changes across the catalogs to get credit for the past courses. Tedious, but it worked in getting me the past credit needed.

Same! My english prereq was completed 20 years ago, it is so stressful.

I stalked the last couple cohorts on here and they found out on April 29th! I’m sure it’s different every year though

I applied to the Sac City LVN program for the first time. I was accepted for Spring 2022!  I am a little disappointed it wasn't for September,  but this gives me more time to prepare.  Good luck to everyone!

I hope all of us on this group get in!

I keep getting the feeling I did something wrong on my application, it's freaking me out. I'm trying to just relax after all the other rejections I have had this semester ? Please be the one!

I know, its because the process and the way they do things doesn't make you feel confident.  I found several different answers and felt like I had to clarify things several times.  So now I am paranoid.  You aren't the only one.

Any updates from ARC?
