Scared that I didnt pass the NCLEX today!!!

Published

Hi all! I took my nclex exam today and the thing shut off after 75 questions...I have no idea if I passed or failed...I felt as if I should of gone on to more questions....I felt like I hadnt even answered many correctly. I know that the questions were not easy....and trying to get them down to two....well that was a tough one...I had questions on guillen barre, a patient with CAD that had a colectomy, Beurgers disease, and a ton of assessement questions. Does anyone else feel like I do...??? This is driving me crazy....Pa. does not have the quick result option....so I have to wait until my license posts...or else doesnt post..and then I am out of a job in intensive care that I have grown to greatly enjoy!!!

Take a big breath and give yourself a big hug. You are done. More than likely you passed. VERY very few people leave that test without thinking they flunked it. I felt that way and I had 75 questions too. If you did relatively well in nursing school, you probalby did just fine on this test. Either way, it is over so just try to relax and do something enjoyable for a few days while you wait. Otherwise you will drive yourself crazy....

It's so true....You are DONE :) !! Try to relax and take some time for yourself until you get your results. I felt the same way after I took mine earlier this week--I always seemed to narrow down the answers to two as well. Believe in yourself and think positive thoughts!!

Best wishes to you!!

The first-time pass rate is about 85%, so the odds are on your side. Take heart! Everyone I know thinks they failed it after they finished, but it just wasn't the case. I think I need to go away for a few days after I take it, just to get my mind off of it.

NCLEX Have you heard of any repetitive questions. I swear I had three on Lupus that sounded almost alike. Do you think they throw more of the same at you if you get them wrong? Like maybe trying to help you get them right? Just like assessement questions i had a lot one right after the other. What do you think???

Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing that can be done until you recieve your score. Do not beat yourself up over this. Most others are in the exact same place as you.............take soem down time for yourself today and go for lunch and a movie, and maybe even a pedicure. Take advantage of htis last free time that you will have for a very long time............the studying is only going to increase when you begin your job. :)

I took mine yesterday.

PN.

I wish I wasnt worried but I am.

I had 85 questions, but none of which I was sure about.

I feel like i guessed so many times there is no way I passed.

PA does have quick results.. everyone I know said it normally posts really quick so it really isnt worth spending the money.. good luck..
