SC4 vs. Baker College

Published

Hi everyone,

I've been recently accepted into SC4's Nursing Program. I am very excited. However that is my backup school. I am really hoping to get into Baker (Clinton Township). I have a 4.0 and just took the NET Test and am awaiting the results. I hope my score is high enough to get in this fall or else I will definately be going to SC4. So here's my question: What are my odds of getting into Baker College given my GPA? And are any of you soon-to-be fellow SC4 or Baker nursing students? Which program do you think is better? Any opinions would be appreciated!!!

Thanks!

Jen

I wouldn't consider HE210 a hard class, but the text can be a difficult read because the material is not as interesting to most students. If you can stay motivated with the reading and develop a good understanding of the major concepts concerning the divisions of Health Care and their functions, then you should do fine. However, I took this class on campus, so I cannot tell you how it would be online.

HE106 is "Interpreting Diagnostic and Laboratory Tests". It is not required, but many of the non-required HE courses are recommended (HE102, HE103, HE106, HE205, HE241). I use these classes to maintain a fulltime status.

The math classes are indeed intended for a bachelors pursuit.:specs:

well thanks that is good to know about the HE classes. Good luck.

I start my HE210 tomorrow. I am pretty excited to finally start thinking of something other then my test results...

Talk to ya soon!
