Had a great visit with the adviser today!
The plan is to:
1. Get GED results in to them, once I get them back, so they can process my application.
2. Take the placement test so I know what Gen. Ed. classes I may need to take (I'm hoping just maybe a math class)
3. Get accepted and attend orientation!
My plan for this semester (spring) is to take Anatomy, Interpersonal Comm., and the Math class I'll probably have to take... hopefully that's not too big a load for me but I really want to get some "points" for applying to the nursing program in April/May, which the adviser recommended I do. They take 26 students for each semester, Spring and Fall, so a total of 52 per year.
Here's hoping!!! Wish me luck!

Good luck! Study hard, and don't fill your plate up too much! That's really hard. I know my local community college takes 68. My school has probably 200 in each semester. I hope you get in as quickly as possible!

Good luck and congratulations on your first steps to getting into a program! I wish you the best of luck! Remember to study hard, don't overload yourself and to get as much rest as you are able to! You may become very fond of coffee as it seems majority of us do by some point while in nursing school or working towards it! Enjoy your journey! :)
Okay, so I got my GED certificate today!! I didn't do as well as I had hoped in math but I passed so it's all good. :yeah:Faxed it off to the school so they can process my application. Now I need to finish and submit the FAFSA to see where I stand with Financial Aid...
Now I just need to take the placement test and get my (hopefully) letter of acceptance so I can start this coming semester on whatever Gen Eds I need and one or two pre-reqs. :)
I'm so excited!!
I have one question though, it seems like my college offers Anatomy and Physiology seperately, whereas it seems like most people posting here say they're taking A&P together? Just curious....
Thanks again for the support!

Just wanted to say Congrats....and I wish u must success :) Although I haven't taken the same route as you I am currently enrolled in a community College and for me I had to complete all my math requirements then chemistry because I haven't taking it previously and then A&P 1 the following semester than A&P2 the next. Its a pain that I can't double up instead I can only take 1 per semester.
