what guide did you use to study to pass the nclex with high scores? pls be specific. thanx.
I prefer Hurst. But I am an auditory learner. I just find it harder to study by reading, I have to muster all the motivation I have to get started. Also, with books I felt like I was memorizing facts, Hurst gives some facts, but focuses on why and the rationale, which makes it easier for me to make loose connections and connect the dots. Best of luck!!!
KAPLAN!!! I just took the NCLEX this morning and according to the pop-up I passed, but when I get the official results and says I didn't pass I'll change my mind...
anyway, here's why I like Kaplan after taking the exam: the questions are HARDER on kaplan. When I was taking the NCLEX it was easy to weed out at least 2 options. Also, the book that kaplan provides is great because its to the point and following along with the online videos provides a good content review.
I also took Virtual ATI. This program provides an instructor that guides you through the review process. It's time consuming but helpful. The review is also tailored to meet your needs and improve your weaknesses. The instructor also gives a 'green light' when he/she feels the student is ready to take it, which is reassuring.
Take both! I finished in 1 hr 15 min 75 questions!
