Tweety I agree, we have an issue in that we can extend life but still have difficulty extending quality of life

Stars I can see how crazy things have gotten, some assistance would be necessary, given that he seems to need more urgent assistance

Work thankfully was not crazy yesterday,  which was nice, ended on a quiet note.   Had to run to Hallmark after work as I had forgotten that my sister has a birthday coming up.  Other than that it was a quiet night

Today made a smoothie instead of my usual muffins, I figured it was healthier.  But  it was definitely more work, and only so-so.  Will head out bird watching as usual then meet dad for lunch, we've missed the last 2 Saturdays.  If I have time I'll  apply online for a used car loan at the credit union

Svengoolie has Trilogy of Terror, which I remember not being good. Really prefer the classic stuff

Will get up to 80 or so today,  warm for this time of year

Hubby slid out of bed onto the floor and could not get up, nor could I help him. I had to call 911 to get him up off the floor. He is being a total azz and doesn't want to go to the ER. I told him he is not going to get any better after resting for a while. The guys left and said to call again if I need them. They don't like the way he is breathing. I am mad at him for being so stubborn about it, as I can NOT take care of him and I WON'T put my body in any more peril tying to. I told him this is not just about HIM.

He hasn't taken his meds this AM, but he HAS had some vodka; doesn't remember how much.

Now he is calling me from upstairs.

I just tried to talk him into going to the ER, because he'll not be magically improving today. He told me to stop fussing at him. I said "what am I supposed to do? Go back down to the den and wait for you to fall again, and then call the ambulance?" and he said "Yeah,"

Totally ridiculous.

I wish I could call the cops to MAKE him go to the ER, but I know that's not an option. I told him again this is not just about him, but then he started getting mad at ME for being mad at him for not making the least little bit of effort and sense about his situation. GADS!

So I'm here in the den just stewing in my juices.

Sounds like Mr. Stars is approaching "danger to himself or others" . I know it's just a dream, but a mental health eval seems indicated.

Doc isn't working today, and tomorrow is Sunday. If hubby lasts the next 2 nights without falling again, I will call the doc Monday. Hubby won't listen to me; he just told me to get off his azz.....    PFFTT!

Stars has accompanied Mr. Stars to many many doctors appointments and every time it's disappointment.  I'm not sure what yet another doctor's appointment or phone call is going to do for him.  

At this point if he doesn't have a real medical emergency that sends him to the hospital or an involuntary commitment to address his myriad of issues.  Stars has done her best.

It was a nice day here. Only down to 40, LOL. There is some snow on the mountain, which is nice to see. We were just thinking in all the time we've  grown up here, we'd never seen so much exposed rock. Dogs are energetic, and gradually doing more business outside, but not 100%. We enjoyed the weed presentation, and for once, dh didn't come away criticizing everything the speaker had to say. I went to the e-bike demo, but it was very crowded, and people kept pushing to the front and I gave up after getting stepped on. We had KFC for dinner. 

I feel bad for NSIME. I personally would have no qualms about calling the EMTs multiple times a day/night. If a personal doctor won't do anything, maybe the EMTs will make a report to APS. It's better that suffering a compression fx. 

I've tried smoothies, but I just don't like cold things, they hurt my teeth. 

I watched a good movie on Netflix called Reptile. It's a murder mystery with Benicio Del Toro.

Hubby has spent all day and all evening in bed. I had to go sit with him a few times to make sure the 02 wasn't on while he "had to" have a smoke. He ate 1/2 p'butter and jelly sandwich all day. His FSBS was okay, a tad low for him, just around 100, but I didn't give him his insulin. 

Braves won over Nat'ls 5 - 3. Nannie wanted the game to end an hour before it did. I told her if she wanted to go to bed earlier, that all she has to do is say so, but she wrinkled her mouth and forehead, and asked how long the game was going to last. Who knows? I sure don't.

I'm going to bed to relax now; this has been one heck of a day and I am TIRED! But, whatcha want to bet that hubby decides to call out to me once I am trying to rest. He hasn't gone into the bathroom that I know of, today, so I guess his athletic shorts and the underpads are taking care of any wetness. I swear!

Now I can't find my phone charger. I give up; I'll look for it tomorrow. Momo is happy we are in the bedroom, she grabbed her little fuzzy squeak toy that she can't squeak, but I guess it is like her teddy-bear or something. She took it and burrowed under the down blanket and gave a sigh.
