Good morning!
Sounds like a nice day planned.
Stars, I recently lost a pillow case. I have two sets of linen and a pillow case just up and disappeared. For a few weeks. I found it today with the fresh linen as I was changing out the bed as if it was never missing. I think a ghost is messing with me.
It's going to be a nice day up to 80. I'm glad to be off for the time change, even when it means an extra hour it messes me up because I'll get up at 4AM.
Nothing much but the routine here. Have a great day.
Hello~
Saturday means no (thwarted) phone calls have to be made, so that's something, anyway. It is going to be....uh, 72 degrees and sunny today.
The leaves fallen into the yard are ankle-deep. Haven't heard a word from the guy who does our yard; maybe he thinks since hubby has passed away, his yard work isn't officially needed? I'll have to go over to his house when I see him there. Personally, I'd just as soon leave the leaves in the yard, as it is supposed to be good for the lawn, (?), OR, let the yard go wild and see what becomes of it, OR sprinkle flower seeds everywhere, so in the Spring, maybe they will Spring to life? Ah, well, probably won't happen while Nannie is alive, she is proud of her lawn....when it looks 'good' to her.
Have not planned anything for today. I know I have to do the dishes, at least. If I am inclined, I might start sorting my clothes to put in the dresser drawers in what was hubby's room. I might have to take Nannie out in the car, as we absolutely NEED more of her yogurts, and dog food, too. I can't go on any buying spree of anything else, as my checkbook needs an infusion, and my SS check doesn't arrive until the 22nd. Hubby's is supposed to go in on the 16th, but I HOPE it ISN'T automatically deposited, as that will be more in the acct that I can't spend. Okay, Stars, no brooding about things today!
Have had my 1st cup of coffee, and fed Momo, so it is almost time to get Nannie up. (Joy to the world.) I got up too late to start the crockpot. Will have to set it up tonight before I go to bed, so I can just get up, even if I am not ready to get up, and add the meat, and start it up. Then if I want or need to, I can go back to bed for a little longer. We'll see how things pan out....or (crock)-pot out. Har-dee-har-har.
All for now~
I need to start some laundry. The guys have been preparing dishes to go to a "friendsgiving" this evening. There's a dinner at church tomorrow and welcoming the new pastor. And the choir is singing. Neither Hubs nor I have practiced the song but we should go sing. All assuming I don't get asked to work the floor. There is one m/s nurse and an aide tomorrow. Last I knew there were only 4 patients but that can change quickly.
Watching the football game (Oklahoma v Oklahoma State) and it's not going great for the Sooners so far. Hubs just came in from outdoors and says it is beautiful.

I was glad to see your clarification, because the post you made prior to this one made me wonder...."Is that good or is that bad? I wasn't sure about clicking on "Like", but I did that just to acknowledge your post.
We have no teams to cheer on, because baseball season is over, and we aren't fans of football games ... or basketball, or ice hockey or that other sport where they slap (propel) the ball over the net with their hands. << See, that's where my brain hit an age-related slick-spot and I couldn't think of the name of the sport. I'm sure I'll remember it after I hit "submit". Oh, OH! I just remembered it: VOLLEYBALL.! Yay brain!

Stars that would be a pain to have to go to Charlotte, but IRS is so hard to get on the phone
Hi Tweety
Ado I've never been to Las Vegas but it does seem rather over the top
NJ22 it must have been luck, I've heard about the long IRS hold times
Another fairly good day yesterday, no extra work but still I didn't have time to help anyone else. Hopefully things will get a little slower to allow that to happen
Quiet day after work, ran to the grocery store, exercised, and did some vacuuming
Today up early to take my car in for its regular service. Will get a rental so I can go and spent some time outside while it's being repaired. Then it'll be the usual lunch with dad. Then I have to bake cookies for next week's potluck
Svengoolie has Kingdom of the Spiders, a dull 70s movie with William Shatner, might skip that one
Weather continues to be pretty good for this time of year, upper 50s, no rain
