I’m sitting in the car, while ds has another look at the used car he may buy. We brought along his friend to look it over. I’m along with the checkbook to make the purchase.
Annie, that would be a convenient way to transfer the house. I hope stepson can agree.
I was never a fan of split pea soup, I guess it’s the texture. We had chicken tortilla soup for dinner last night. I stopped at dd’s place on my way home from work, with her Christmas gift that finally came from Amazon. I thought she would be home because earlier she texted me that her catalytic converter had been stolen off her car. But she was out helping her ex with something.
dh still isn’t talking to me. I’ve found it’s best to leave him be until he simmers down. If I try to say anything, it’s just prolongs the freeze.
Yeah, me saying something to hubby does no good....as Tweety predicted, he has started drinking again. After 2 days on the Ativan, and staying in bed all day yesterday, he couldn't stay sober, I guess. I had given him the 3 Ativan at 8 AM, and I went back to bed. Got up around noon to go out for Nannie's 'feminine hygiene' products.
My first clue was that my car had been backed into the carport, which I do not do. I had to go get Nannie some more #6 pads, I swear she goes through them like candy. When I came back, hubby was in the house, so I as I was getting out of my car, I peered into his 'man-cave' and saw a bunch of full little bottles and a bag from the liquor store tucked halfway under the front seat where he sits. When I said that I couldn't give him his 2 PM Ativan because he'd started drinking again. "What makes you think I've been drinking?" I told him I'd seen the booze bottles in the front of the Ford, and besides, I knew he'd been in my car because I never back it in, only he does that. I told him that I guess he'd be going to the hospital on Monday, because doc had said if he couldn't do the Ativan detox, they'd have to 'approach' the problem in a different way...ie, the hospital. I sure don't think 5 days in-hospital will be enough, but we'll see.
I'll be back here later---
I hope the weekend isn't too long for you, Stars. Best of luck.
I like split pea soup and the rest of the family will eat it but they don't say, "yay! Pea soup!"
I just put together a pickup order for Wal-Mart groceries. Hubs went to the lake this morning to deliver a boat motor he had been working on. I can't get motivated to do the work of clearing things out of here. Everybody else is sitting around. Twin B does have to work tonight so he gets a pass.

Tweety that was good that the owner corrected those mistakes
Hi NJ22
Stars glad the pharmacist corrected that mistake. I wonder if there is no biopsy and he's confused about his post discharge instructions, I find a lot of people are
Ado that would be good if someone could take over the house
Dianah we did, we'll get together for lunch beforehand as long as his stomach isn't acting up, otherwise we'll just do the musical. We'll be seeing Elf
Yesterday was fairly good at work, some long and somewhat intense calls but overall it was not too busy a day
After work was fairly quiet too, stopped at the store, exercised, watched Star Trek, and took a bath. Was disappointed that the rose bubble bath produced relatively few bubbles and hardly had any scent. Was quite relaxing anyway, even more than meditation
Today will attempt to go out bird watching, if it's not too cold. If it is too cold I may drive out to my aunt's old house, haven't been out that way in years. Have laundry and a crock pot recipe to make. Won't be seeing dad because I have a vestry meeting this afternoon dealing with the complex subject of staff compensation
Svengoolie has The Raven, which I haven't seen before so I'll be watching it. Apparently his show has been extended by another half hour
Will be a fairly cold day today, in the low 30s again
