Hi Tweety

Stars I can understand feeling a bit overwhelmed by the things you have to do.  Mabye some respite care could help?

Dianah thanks for sharing  the pictures, you two look very dapper

NJ22 it seems a lot of people don't know what to put on dating apps, from what I've seen so far

Ado I have a DVD with most of the various holiday specials, since I remember those the best

Got a little busy at work but was not too bad.  Rest of the day was fairly quiet.  Did some cleaning, exercised, did a little more work on the dating apps

Oddly tired this morning, I'm usually such a morning person

Today will do baking in the morning since it's too cold for bird watching, making cookies for church coffee hour next week. Will have lunch with dad as usual, then will do the usual exercise and watch Outlander.  Svengoolie has Bride of Frankenstein which he just had recently so I'll watch Verdi's opera Othello instead

Will be a colder day today in the mid 30s and will be a bit windy

Yo ho ho !

More laundry from the Nannie-person. At some point she got up and took off her pants, then on top of her turtleneck jersey and sweater, she added and old nylon, sleeveless nightgown (she never wears nightgowns, so I don't know where she found this one!) Anyway, on top of the nightgown she added a sweatshirt sweater. I found her pullups and well-used (WET!) pads on the floor under where her clothes hang. I had to put a dry pullup on her, so she wouldn't dribble down her legs as she shuffled to the bathroom. She is one pill short on her AM meds, so I have to go to the pharmacy, as I had already called in two other refills for her, and two for me. Meanwhile, the laundry has been started....

Momo's test for UTI was 'inconclusive"...ie, she had a FEW white cells and a FEW red cells but really not much at all, and MAYBE a little bacteria. She is on a "just-in-case" antibiotic, a chewable one, which she agreed to eat after I split the tab in two. I said, "Here, Momo, it's a SNACK!" and she fell for it! YAY! Otherwise, he said, she is very healthy, and she has actually lost half a pound of the 2 to 2.5 pounds he wants her to lose before she is spayed.

Well. I'm going to grab my purse and go----

Meh. Cold out. Twin A holed up in his room. He was doing homework earlier. Twin B asleep --he works tonight. Gma dozing in the recliner. She got the depakote this morning. Hubs was dozing but I think he's up now. Earlier we watched The Barefoot Contessa with Humphrey Bogart and Ava Gardner, which I had not ever seen. I made a swipe at the laundry and kitchen but there is plenty more to do. And my stomach is upset. A coworker brought fresh eggs to work yesterday. I brought some home and today I made myself a cheese omelet that I ate with salsa. Tasty but ever since I've felt bad. Makes me cautious about using those eggs. Hubs had a couple of bites and he hasn't complained.

Last night the boys brought banh mi from the local pho place ?. Good but a lot of cilantro. And I like cilantro but had to remove some of it.

Stars--Good news about Momo, but didn't explain her behavior.

Ado, sorry to hear your stomach is upset.  Our friend K who has a few egg-layers, reminds us how to check if eggs are fresh: Place an egg in water to cover it.  If it sinks, it is good.  If it kinda floats a little (barely at the top), it's OK.  If it FLOATS, it is not good.  I hope you feel better soon, and that Gma's depakote helps her be less volatile.  Mmmm, I like banh mi!  I always get it with tofu; dh gets it with chicken.  YES, we want the jalapenos in it!  Stay warm!

I have come down with a fever, and feel yech. I will tell Nannie to go to bed whenever she wants to, and I will go down to turn off the TV and lights later on.

Have not been sick one single time since we moved here! SiL has been having cold symptoms and Nannie has, too. Sometimes washing your hands doesn't ALWAYS work! Oh well.

 Good night!

Feel better stars and all the handwashing in the world won't help with an airborne virus.

Ado, hope you're feeling better as well.

Work was pretty busy today.

Have a great day!
