Felt better yesterday, decided I was overreacting to my symptoms and went back on regular diet and no medications, and the symptoms largely resolved.  Work was a bit busier than expected with a new case, but otherwise not bad.  Rest of the day was quiet, just exercised

No bird watching today as I have the dentist this morning, but will have time to stop at the farmer's market, have not been there in a while.  Then the usual lunch with dad, then dinner with the over 50 group at at Thai restaurant

Svengoolie has Black Friday, which I've seen before.  

Think it's going to be warm today, up to about 90

Stars, I figured you meant "fabulous" but just wanted to be sure.  LOL

Dianah, I Googled before I asked and figured it was rugelach but wanted to check.  Looks good and I've definitely had them before.

I'm on the mend.  Woke up at 6AM to feed the dogs and brush my teeth and went back to bed for a couple more hours.  I've not been that sick but just not 100% in energy and feeling bleh, a little nasally and coughed some.  The cough seems gone.  It was a very good idea to call off yesterday.

Joe and Tweety, I'm glad you are both feeling better!

Joe, when you say you are going to "dinner with the over 50 group," my brain imagines a group of over 50 in number, converging upon a li'l ol' Thai restaurant!  Yah, I know, it's over 50 in age.  Try and tell my brain that, when it's not fully engaged!  Enjoy your dinner out!

We will soon tune into the Zoom Sabbath School.  Nothing else is planned for today.  Tomorrow we help with the Hymn Sing (or Gospel Sing, whatever you want to call it) at Oak Glen.

Gouda Aphternooon~

Woke up at 11:45 AM. Drinking first coffee. Have fed Momo. Now I am trying to stay quiet and hoping Nannie will stay put in bed for another 15 minutes, so I can finish waking up. Don't like her just walking out here before I'm ready to tackle her AM care.

Had lots of busy dreams which I don't really remember. And today's itinerary? Guess I could do some of my laundry. Hoping I don't have to launder Nannie's sheets again. Well, she also has some clothing to launder. Aaaaand there's the dishes I have ignored for....this will be the third day, so I guess I will be taking care of them as well. Ahhh, routine! Some things you can always count on and don't have to use an abacus! 🙄

I remembered what it was I wanted to mention previously....nothing at all important. Y'know how I've told y'all how I have most always awakened with a song playing in my head? The past 3 days it has been that stoopit ad jingle: "I've got type 2 diabetes and I handle it well..." Yes, the JARDIANCE advertisement on TV. AUGH!  Fortunately this morning it was replaced by another song, so hallelujah!

Oh, and I read on a neighborhood site where this woman said her cat had vomiting similar to Joe's cat....it took several different vets to discover the problem....it was a small tumor in the cat's throat; once it was removed....no more vomiting. Just thought I'd pass that along.

Good day!

Glad everyone seems to be feeling better. 

Hubs drove a couple hours away to pick up a dashboard he bought for the "new" truck. He took Twin A with him and arranged the Gma sitter to come about 0800. They left a little after 0700. I went to the living room to be awake and aware. Almost immediately Gma emerged from her room so I got her changed and made breakfast. Visited a little with the sitter then went to town for a baby shower gift and to mail a birthday gift to the twin granddaughters.

Another hot day, somewhere around 100, but the morning was quite pleasant.
