SATA's and passing

Published

So I took my NCLEX on Jan 21st. The test shut off at around 120 questions (high level of anxiety after 75). Like most people, I left feeling like I didn't know a single answer to a question. But the worst part was, I felt like I only had a handful of SATA (10-15 out of 120). I thought that those were generally considered higher level thinking questions, so that made me pretty certain I wasn't getting enough correct to pass. Got home and immediately tried the PVT trick (got the good pop up, but was still skeptical). Didn't sleep at all that night and found out yesterday I passed! So, my main point is don't judge how well you did by how many SATA's you had on your NCLEX. It doesn't always mean you aren't answering correctly!

Good luck to anyone taking the test soon! We need all the nurses we can get.

Congratulations!
