SATA or alternate question on NCLEX

I have a question regarding SATA and alternate question on the NCLEX. Are all these questions considered analysis and application question right away? Also if you get a lot of SATA or alternate question test on the test is that a good thing or a bad thing. I took my NCLEX today and I think I about 8-10. I think I did ok... but I know they are really cruitial if you miss it.

I wouldn't read too much into the type of questions received on the test. One test question doesn't weigh any more than any other question when it comes to the results. The only questions that are treated differently are the "test" questions which do not count for or against the person testing. Haven't seen anything in writing on how the SATA are classified, but it would make sense that they are analysis and application.

Are the "test" questions that do not count presented at the beginning of the test or mixed in throughout the test? I guess I'm asking do you know when you are answering the do not count questions?

its hard to tell. all i know is it is mixed in the first 75 questions. people should avoid trying to figure out which one is the trial questions. they should think that each question is the REAL NCLEX questions.
