I thought we were supposed to hear back at the end of April, it is already May. I was thinking about calling them today. We are supposed to get notified by e-mail, right? I'm freaking out too..... so nervous!

Congrats to you guys! I just got a call saying they are still evaluating one of my prereqs and I'll hear back on Monday. The wait is going to kill me! But I am confused. Aren't they letting the first 40 students with the highest points in, and then alternates? If they haven't calculated my points yet but already sent admissions decisions, do you think they are trying to see where on the alternate list I rank? Edit: Oh yes, and also seeing if I'm even qualified for the program. I wish they told me which prereq they are evaluating. =/

Hm I wish I knew so I could give you an answer, I think right now it sounds hopeful so don't fret or be anxious, just keep distracted until Monday, they emailed me in the afternoon so don't be checking your email every hr till afternoon! I hope u get in :)

Yes, I am hopeful. They had the courtesy to call me, that must mean something! Thanks for the tips, I'll try not to think about it this weekend and not check my e-mail obsessively Monday morning!

I got in!! I just found out today. I'm pretty sure I'm going to accept. I was so anxious this whole week, lol. Ahh, I'm so happy!

That's awesome, congrats!!! I think I am going to accept as well. So nice they let us know early on, can breathe a little easier now. :) Are you waiting on anywhere else?

I am waiting on LACC, but I live closer to Santa Monica. I think LACC sends admission notices at the end of this month. How about you?

I'm waiting on all of them haha...LACC, Pierce, Valley, Glendale, Pasadena, LATTC. LACC is my other top choice, so we'll see what happens. Leaning toward SMC though.
