This is a post for the accepted Spring 2017 cohort SBCC ADN program, congratulations to you! :) I thought I'd make a post for people to share and connect however they like...want to share how many points you had? Whether you were on the wait list and for how long? How long did it take you to get to this point? What inspires you to be a nurse?

Thank you and congratulations to you all, can't wait to meet you!!!

Hello, I was accepted into Santa Barbara City College for 2017! I was on a stand by status and was later notified that there was a seat available. I am very excited to start next year:)

Hello, I was also accepted! I was wondering if anyone was moving to Santa Barbara, I need to find a place to live and hoped to live with another nursing student

Congrats jnrico11!! I'm planning on moving down to SB too. Where would you be coming from?

Potential roomie? I'm also moving to SB from LA.

Congrats to you too chen1sta! Possibly lol. It would be cool to room with all nursing students, we could all help each other out:)

I was thinking the same thing cuz then at least we would have each other. Can't wait to see y'all at orientation! :)

I'm moving to SB from Palmdale. I'm not very familiar with the area, it would be nice to room with other nursing students:yes:

My fingers are crossed for a room share! Mainly cuz rent is ridiculous in SB.

Mines too! I've been looking online and the cheapest I've found are $650, probably going to start looking for a part time job in SB

Oh hayy! ;) 650 is doable for me. But some I see go for $800-1000 without utilities and thats beyond the range I'm looking for.

-Yeah, on the facebook "sbcc housing" page they usually range from $800-$1000  I'd rather save a few hundred and be at an apartment a bit further away
