San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC) LVN to RN Bridge

Published

Hello!

I recently applied for SJVC in Visalia LVN to RN Bridge program for 2025. I already took my RN fundamentals test and passed. I was wondering if anyone else has taken it and if they have been contacted about an interview?

Hi all! I just took my exam and passed. Curious to know everyone's GPA and test score. It seems like a lot of people are applying for this program !

Hi everyone! So glad someone made a post for this cohort! Hope we all get in. My stats are GPA 4.0, ATI funds score was an 82%. From what the admin lady stated, you need a minimum score of 65% on the Funds exam to be considered.

I am extremely nervous! I am trying to get ahold of them to see how quickly they comb through applications and start calling the 100 people picked for interviews. I have to be out of town with no service next week 9/18-9/20 and I'm scared they will call me and I miss it 😞

Wow your stats are great! I have a 3.4 GPA and scored a 77 on funds! Hopefully enough to get me in. It's seems like a lot of people were applying to this program! Well at least the Ontario one. Im sure it will be okay! They have to go through a lot of calls . I think they send an email as well!

That is pretty good stats too! I am applying for the Visalia location! I am sure all locations are impacted though 😖

Fingers crossed they do call and email! Is the ontario deadline the 16th as well?

Yes Ontario's is the 16th as well. Thank you! Trying to stay positive ! I hope we all get in! Compared to other posts it looks like they take their time notifying students. We'll know the first week of November if we got in!

I was told before I submitted my application that we will know by mid to late Oct.. but I am sure delays are expected LOL Trying to get ahold of anyone is a task within itself LOL

Hi everyone, I was told that 65% was the minimum cut off for the fundamentals and that interviews would will be starting very end of September through October. Also the number they will be calling from is a 209 or 206 area code. I forgot what I was told. How was the exam and what were your scores?

I was also told 65% minimum too. I wonder when they will start calling us? I was reading an old blog post for the regular program on here and it was kind of all over the place on the interview calls. Not sure what order they go in to call people, but it seemed like they called folks starting the Friday of deadline week until almost 3 weeks after.

I got a 82 on the funds exam and have a 4.0 GPA so I am hoping it is good enough for interview. hbu?

Hi everyone! Anyone heard from them yet about interviews? I have to go out of town today until Friday around noon with no service and I'm so worried I'm going to miss their call and lose my interview spot. I was Unable to get ahold of anyone at the office to ask either 😕

They extended the deadline until next week because the admission adviser was out of the office so the application period is still open and phone calls won't be until after it closes

Oh my! This is adding to my anxiety. I am also waiting to hear back from COS. I'm so nervous it feels like forever……

Oh wow! That is wild but thanks for the update. I got back into service and was freaking out that I didn't get a call until I saw this LOL. I hope we all hear back next week asap!
