San Joaquin Delta College (SJDC) ADN Fall 2015

Hello all. I applied to SJDC nursing program for fall 2015. Anyone else apply and want to chat about it? They will be updating the application this Friday to let us know whether or not we can submit information.

It has to be the course descriptions in the schools college catalog for the correct year. So if you took a prereq. at xyz college for example in 2011 then you need to go to the xyz 2011 college catalog and print out the descriptions from there.

The instructions also say to make sure you print out the first page of the catalog to show the year too.

This is taking forever!....2 more weeks ‘til we find out. Does anyone know how scheduling for the nursing program works? Do you get to pick your class or are they picked for you?

I'm applying to Modesto Junior College this May, I missed the application deadline for Delta, I stupidly assumed it would be around the same time as the other colleges.

MJC is merit based as well, and think I have a good chance with 69 points. Last year the cutoff was 65 points, but by the time fall rolled around and they had people drop for various reasons, they took people from as low as the 62 point range. But who knows what the range will be this year. I'm guessing it will be higher, but by how much is hard to know.

I'd love to know which of you folks get in and what point range your at?

I got accepted! There is an ADN student information packet in my evaluation status page that I was able to download. Congratulations to everyone else who got in and don't give up if you didn't this time around!

Hey beecool! I logged in at 4 this afternoon and received an acceptance letter (stoked). But I don't really believe it and I'm convinced it's probably a mistake! I've been trying to log back in tonight and I'm not able to get in. Anyone else having this problem??

I got that too, but the system is down now and I'm worried it was fake. Hopefully just paranoid!

I tried to check all night and the system was down. I checked just now and the site is already working. I got in!!! Congrats to all those who made it!! And for those who didn't, just keep trying! Don't give up :)

Good going onj17! Well, turns out I'm an alternate (#35) seems like they had to do some sorting out last night and fix some of their notifications. Does anyone know if the alternate list is carried over and used for Spring 2016? Any alumni have as high an alternate number as me?

I also got the Congrats packet yesterday, but today a note that I am actually an alternate.

Feeling a little snubbed too klatteri! I think someone is pushing the wrong buttons. Anywaysssss. To answer my own question, waitlist is not carried over and it looks like I will be reapplying. Onward!
