  1. I decided on ARC. An alternate for SJDC should be getting my spot. Congrats! Good luck everyone.
  2. Spring 2015 thread talks about alternates
  3. So I called and for first semester lecture is on Monday like our packet says and clinicals will be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Also, occasionally we come in on Friday for a couple of lab hours.
  4. Don't give up on the exam! Good luck to you!
  5. Thank you so much for the info! Are we able to pick our own classes or do we get to enroll based on lottery? I think I'm leaning towards Delta since the hours seem more stable than ARC.
  6. Do you know if they ever have night shifts or are they usually mornings and days? Because the other program (ARC) has clinicals until 8 at night.
  7. Does anyone know what the schedule is like? Do you stay on the same schedule the whole semester? I got into another program and I need to decide which schedule will work best.
  8. I got accepted! There is an ADN student information packet in my evaluation status page that I was able to download. Congratulations to everyone else who got in and don't give up if you didn't this time around!
  9. This is taking forever!....2 more weeks ‘til we find out. Does anyone know how scheduling for the nursing program works? Do you get to pick your class or are they picked for you?
  10. The instructions also say to make sure you print out the first page of the catalog to show the year too.
  11. It has to be the course descriptions in the schools college catalog for the correct year. So if you took a prereq. at xyz college for example in 2011 then you need to go to the xyz 2011 college catalog and print out the descriptions from there.
  12. I'm from Sacramento but I live by Redding now. If I don't get into any program this application period I will probably retake the TEAS. I was going to apply to an entry level MSN but the tuition is expensive so I want to get an ADN first then do a fast track MSN. Are Modesto or Merced merit based?
  13. I applied to ARC, SJDC, and Butte College which is more north going towards Redding. That is the one I want the most because it is closer to me but if I get into SJDC I'll sacrifice and make the drive. I am not sure how good my chances are though. I wish they were not as strict with pre-reqs. I took my nutrition and English class almost 10 years ago and got a B in both of them but recently retook them since some schools consider them expired and got an A in both. Some posts from previous semesters say people with points in the 50's have gotten in but others say mostly people with points in the 70's got in so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
  14. I'm not sure, did you make sure it's set on fall 2015? I know there are a lot of semesters in the drop down box.
  15. Yes! Did you? Did you apply to any other program?
