SAN JOAQUIN DELTA COLLEGE FALL 2019 ADN

Nursing Students School Programs

Hey everyone I can't seem to find a forum for the Fall 2019 application for Delta so I thought I'd create one. I applied already. I like the way the new application is set up online. It was clearer to me this time around. I'm curious as to how many points everyone is applying with. ?

@Alexj2018 yes, I took prerequisites at ARC, CRC, SCC, as well as COS. Lol I know that sounds like a lot of schools, but I've taken advantage of the online system for classes - it works better with my schedule. Did you apply to Delta? I'm hoping if I get in that I can find a few people to set up a carpool system to make it easier on those who have to commute.

I had 77 points , i live in Sacramento and also hoping to get into arc and scc, the drive to delta wasn't that bad

You already went to delta?

Hey everyone! Check out this link -

Delta just posted the Fall 2019 stats! There were 447 applications and they only invited 126 of us to submit documents. It's making me a little nervous because it appears that a lot of students who got chosen have really high points.

No, sorry I meant went I dropped off my application, the drive wasn't bad

Anyone knows how many are invited to submit docs in the Past? , 126 seems like a lot for 40 spots.

Hi everyone,
I turned in my supplemental documents Thursday, and it was my first time at the campus, it's really nice.

I also live in Sac and would love to set a carpool system up if I get in. I applied with 75.5, but it seems like a lot of students are very competitive and have higher points, so we'll see. I'm waiting to hear from SCC and ARC. I didn't make the lottery for Sierra.

Good luck Everyone!

@jbellle thanks for sharing these, I've never seen them. How did you know where to look?

@winter7 If you go to the page on the Delta website that contains the link for the application itself, there's another link that says admission information. That's where I found it.

I unfortunately didn't get into Sierra either and I didn't apply to SCC. So I'm hoping to get into ARC or Delta but with so many people applying to ARC, I'm not getting my hopes up. I think Delta is my best bet even though I didn't have great points (78). But I looked at previous forums from prior years and people with points in the 60's range got in so we might have a chance!

Anyone know if your social security card has to be signed?? Mine wasn't signed when I made a copy

Why not just send them your DL?

They asked for both

I don't think it matters if it was signed or not. And I agree with you the way I understood it, they asked for both.

@Lady2020 you had to send a copy of a official I.D. as well as a copy of your social security. They disqualify applicants who don’t send all requested information at once. :( @Alexj2018 I signed mine just in case but I don’t think they’ll disqualify you for that. I wouldn’t worry about it - a lot of people don’t sign their social security cards!
