Hi everybody, I decided to make a thread for everyone applying to SJDC's nursing program for the Fall 2017 semester. This is a good space to collaborate and share information, exchange scores, etc etc

The application was supposed to open "the first week of February", and today is the 7th but there is still no application or update of any kind on the site. Does anybody have any information about this? I'm getting anxious checking every day and I just want to apply already!

Hi all,

I just checked my status and it says that although I met the requirements, my ranking was too low and was not invited to submit documentation. I've applied last year and it went fine. How many points did you guys had so I would get an idea where I stand and why I'm getting this message.

Phy2016 I have the same message. I honestly think it is an error. I emailed them this morning but no response yet. They have not ranked us yet so that should not be the message. I applied last semester as well. At the beginning of this application period they were also having errors with people who have previously applied before. I don't know if you noticed that. I am anxiously awaiting a response to my email so I can submit my documents.

Omg!! I thought I was the only one! I was questioning myself on how I was ranked when documentations has not been submitted yet and and verified. Please let me know if you hear anything back from them. I wasn't sure if it was an error message so I haven't email them yet.

Hi Phy2016. To answer your question, I applied with 82.5 points.

My friend applied with points in the high 50's and got the same message as you and Faith2BAnurse did. I'm assuming that people this semester applied with higher points than previous semesters so the point cutoff was higher than everybody expected.

Thanks lkazemi91 for answering my question. I agree that they are probably doing cutoffs for those with lower points this year applications, but I'm still not 100% sure since there has been so many technical problems. I applied with 70 points, which isn't too competitive. As far as ranking goes, I would think they would need documentations to verify in order to rank people to make sure everything is correct. Still crossing my fingers that it's another error!

Wow, 70 points is a pretty high score. Hopefully it's just a technical error, and that you find out soon. Fingers crossed for you!

Yay! I have been invited to submit docs!! did anyone else go to MJC for all prereqs?? The packet is asking for course descriptions... but pretty sure MJC is on the equivalency grid...do we need to still submit? also, whats the easiest way to get that? I just started copy and pasting it to a word doc from the online catalog.. seems sort of inefficient. Thanks

Ugh I just looked this up on Delta's website and I think I am actually am ranked to low. I do have low points and they randomly draw 10% from the low points. The last 2 semesters I have been asked to submit docs and this time I was not. I still have not heard back from Delta but maybe it's not an error. I am currently trying not to to cry in Nordstoms.

I sent my TEAS results in and noticed on the confirmation email from ATI that my student ID # isn't listed. I called ATI and they say they never list the student ID on the transcript, but I think the lady just didn't feel like helping. Why would that even be an option listed on the form if they never share that info?

has anyone else sent their TEAS transcript in? If yes, can you please look at the confirmation email from ATI and see if your student ID# is on the top under your name?

i don't want to just assume it's okay and be disqualified!

I purchased transcripts yesterday and my student ID wasn't listed either.

Did anybody email Delta to see if their TEAS transcripts were received? If so, how long did it take them to reply? I emailed them and still haven't heard back from them.
