Hi everybody, I decided to make a thread for everyone applying to SJDC's nursing program for the Fall 2017 semester. This is a good space to collaborate and share information, exchange scores, etc etc

The application was supposed to open "the first week of February", and today is the 7th but there is still no application or update of any kind on the site. Does anybody have any information about this? I'm getting anxious checking every day and I just want to apply already!

I applied March 7th, and I have also not received anything from them.

I took my pre req courses st MJC and am having a hard time finding equivalent courses at delta. Anyone know where I can find this info?

I ended up emailing them and after 3 days they confirmed my application. Maybe try that or call because it is getting close to the deadline. Good luck!

Hi Monica. For equivalent coursework, I believe you are supposed to submit your transcripts to the Admissions and Records department at Delta for evaluation.

I checked my application status today and it says I'm disqualified! I noticed on Delta's ADN page, they say there's a technical difficulty and app status is not yet available. Is anyone else getting this message that they're disqualified? I went to the counseling office today and two people there had no idea and told me to leave message for the counselor, which I did. Waiting to hear back, but the suspense is killing me! I went over the app (I printed the pages before submitting) and I can't find any errors.

Im having the same problem, it said I'd been disqualified and to click the link to view my disqualification letter, but there was nothing to click on. I tried to log in again and now it won't let me, so I'm thinking there must still be something going on with the system. At least I'm hoping so because I went over my application a bunch of times before I submitted it because I know they've been know to DQ people over minor details in the past. Fingers crossed for both of us!

Thanks so much for responding! I hope the counselor calls me back soon, but I have a feeling It will be a while because they made me an in-person appointment for Monday in case I don't hear back from her by then. But as soon as I know something I'll post here.

I just checked again and it no longer says disqualified, it says application status won't be available until tomorrow now

I actually went into the health and science department today to ask them, and they said that the application status opened too early and that it said disqualified for everyone and that tomorrow it would update and that we should be able to open up the pdf files. The lady there did tell me though once it opens you have to right click it and click "export field contents" and then download them to open them.

Pretty frustrating that they did not send out some type of email to us this morning once they realized the mistake. I know it's not really their fault per say but still, to put us all in that type of worry for a good couple of hours, it was cruel!

But anyway, I'm glad it seems to be being fixed. Good luck to you all tomorrow!
