San Joaquin Delta College ADN Spring 2023

Updated:   Published

Hi everyone, I'm making this so the people applying to the Spring 2023 San Joaquin Delta program can talk. Does anyone know when the application opens and ends? Also, How many points will you be applying with? I'm attaching the admission points criteria. I'm not sure if this is the latest one that they actually use, does anyone know?

Listen I know how you feel trust me. Being denied not once but twice. Keep your head up and take this time to see what you can do to improve your chances next time but most importantly relax, enjoy the simple things in life and don’t feel like you must rush your time will come god willing.

I hear you, God willing, amen ??

Im sure that you'll definitely get in this semester! You have 69.5 points right? Someone here has 70.5 and got in.

Really?? I missed that, but yes that was me with 69.5. I wonder if they got in with the 10% lottery?? Either way that’s hopeful to hear, thank you ❤️

I doubt that person got in by the lottery. When they create the alternative list, you'll find out what number you're at and Im sure you'll be around the top of it.

We should be getting a email from the program in the next day or two. They will give us a list of things to do like getting vaccinations, CPR certification, boosters, and general info for the program. They also should be giving us a in person date for orientation where they will explain everything to get us prepared to start in January.

If somebody got in with if 70 and you got alternate with 69.5 then you should still have some optimism. This means you must be on top of the alternate list and you might only need one or two people to drop for you to be admitted. Usually at least five people don’t accept their spot because they are going somewhere else. So be positive and have hope. Also call the department and ask them what your spot on the list is. Hope everything works out.

If you choose fast track, you’ll finish in a 1.5 years instead of 2. So you’ll graduate Spring ‘24 instead of fall ‘24

On what basis do they select fast-track students?

I dropped from Delta so that you will be next. Keep fingers crossed

The top 20 students are chosen for fast track. If they decline, then they go down the list.

The top 20 candidates with the highest points that applied.

Hi everyone I got in and accepted admission with 71.5 points. I am so grateful to God ? I hope I get the opportunity for the fast track . This was my 2nd time applying I made sure not to have errors this time! Those who got waitlisted don't give up keep trying and to those who got disqualified don't be discouraged it's all possible!!
