Hello everybody I just thought I make a forum for those who are applying Spring 2021. Had a question on how we send our transcripts if we did all our pre-req's elsewhere

Hi! I am in fast track right now. A disadvantage for some is not having too much of a break. So far we have had a total of 3 weeks off since January. You definitely can feel a little burnt out at times but I feel like it’s worth it.

How were the Summer classes? Was it OB and Psyche? Anything you can recommend about getting through it? Thanks for the help.?

The Summer classes were fast but kept us busy. It was Psych and OB and Psych had 3-4 papers I believe. The one thing that has helped me all throughout nursing school has definitely been my clinical group. They become your second family. Also always keep in mind the end goal and why you are working so hard. Good luck!:)

Hi! Thank you for your insight. Do you think it is possible to have a part time job while in the program? I understand that for Summer, it might be hard since each course is 5 weeks long vs 8. But wanted to know if there's enough time for a PT

Some people in my clinical group had a part time job and did fine. I did not, but I am now working as a student nurse extern at St. Joseph’s which is an awesome opportunity.
I have an urgent question, I applied for this semester and I was not invited. I completed all of my science courses at MJC. I got a C in physiology due to the fact that my teacher got sick and they had to find a replacement at the beginning of the semester so we basically started 3 weeks in with no instruction but at the same spot we should’ve been at. I was lost as I was not really strong in chem but I tried hard to pass. If I were to take a science course at Delta or Merced, is that still considered a retake?

Delta will only take your first passing grade. I think if it's a C- you could retake it for a better grade but if it's a solid C then that's the only grade you could use for your application.

I got in as an alternate. I don’t know which number though.
