San Joaquin Delta College ADN Spring 2021

#Spring2021

Published

Hello everybody I just thought I make a forum for those who are applying Spring 2021. Had a question on how we send our transcripts if we did all our pre-req's elsewhere

I have an urgent question, I applied for this semester and I was not invited. I completed all of my science courses at MJC. I got a C in physiology due to the fact that my teacher got sick and they had to find a replacement at the beginning of the semester so we basically started 3 weeks in with no instruction but at the same spot we should’ve been at. I was lost as I was not really strong in chem but I tried hard to pass. If I were to take a science course at Delta or Merced, is that still considered a retake?

I think if you retake any of those classes at any other school it will just show up as a repeat when you apply and use your transcripts. See how many points they deduct for retakes and see if you get a better score if it helps or hurts your more when you apply. Good luck.

Hi any packet updates? Just checked my email didn’t see much. Thank you

No, I have been checking like crazy! The lack of correspondence is strange to me, I feel like I should be doing something!! But don’t know where to start...

If you haven’t already, I would start by getting titers done for your vaccines. I had mine done months ago and had to repeat MMR injections because I wasn’t showing mumps immunity. (I am older than most students, LOL) Also, start the Hep B series of inoculations, if you haven’t previously. ?

Thanks. I’m older also... and I don’t even know what titers I need! But your suggestion is helpful, thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion, the last time I talked about vaccines was for my kids or during my pregnancies so it’s been awhile to LOL. I'll Look into that as well.

Anyone declined their spot for fast track program?

Was wondering the same thing. Although during the meeting there were a few who said they wouldn't do it. They're probably not on this forum though.

Check your emails! Just got the info package!!

There's a lot of stuff due on dec 4. Dec 1 is already here. How come we can get doctors appointments and get TB tests vaccinations started by dec 4??
