Hi friends, my name is John. I'm new here and wanted to start a thread for those applying for the Fall 2014 admission at SJDC. I've read similar threads about past classes and found them interesting and informative.
I just finished up Physiology (still nervously waiting for my grade) and I'll be taking the TEAS at Modesto JC on 12/20. After that I'll be putting together my application!
I just noticed on Delta's ADN site that the TEAS will be offered at the Stockton campus the second week of January. Still no information on when the actual application period is going to be.
Anybody else want to share any thoughts, concerns, rumors, or advice?
Looking at your scores, I am just not sure about my possibility of getting in. All your scores are a lot higher than mine. I calculated a 62.5. I think I have a better chance of getting in next semester in the spring. I just recently retook my TEAS and got an 82. The first time around I got a 79.3; this is the score which I submitted for the Fall 2014 application. Although I am happy that I improved my TEAS, I know I could do better. The first time I took the TEAS the section in which I did better was math. This time I had like 5 questions that I didn't finish in the math section because I got stuck trying to solve one problem.
Hi Chepe ! There is still hope that you can get in as an alternate ! :) I was in the same situation as you last time i applied. I hade a 74.7 on my Teas and a much lower number of points than you. I didn't get in but i knew i could do better so i retook the TEAS and got an 89.3 and now have a 66.5. Its not a high number but its good enough (i hope). Just study hard and retake it :) you can do it ! I will keep my fingers crossed for you either way for this cohort

I got in!! no email or anything but when I checked the status, it says I got in. did anyone else have this problem? It is not my first choice as I am waiting for the other schools in the Sacramento area. I hope I get notified from those schools as quickly as possible too. On another note, Congrats everyone!
