Hi friends, my name is John. I'm new here and wanted to start a thread for those applying for the Fall 2014 admission at SJDC. I've read similar threads about past classes and found them interesting and informative.
I just finished up Physiology (still nervously waiting for my grade) and I'll be taking the TEAS at Modesto JC on 12/20. After that I'll be putting together my application!
I just noticed on Delta's ADN site that the TEAS will be offered at the Stockton campus the second week of January. Still no information on when the actual application period is going to be.
Anybody else want to share any thoughts, concerns, rumors, or advice?
You will get in you will see :) and you are welcome. The wait does suck but what I don't like is that sometimes they tell you that you will be notified by a given date and the day comes and they decide to make you wait longer ! so everyone goes crazy checking every ten minuets lol.. at this point I wouldn't care I just want to get in!
Hey guys, I'm starting the application right now. I'm nervous about the part where it needs supporting docs for work experience. I just moved here last summer and I'm not sure if I can get proof that I was working the WHOLE time I took prerequisite stuff. I'm nervous it might disqualify my whole application. If that's the case, I won't risk it for only 2.5 points. If it just means that section won't count then I might as well try for it. Any thoughts?
Good luck everybody!
yes it is pretty straight forward, my question is about my degrees and also what kind of proof would I need for first generation of college and for the second language.. I don't want to get disqualified for something dumb lol I am proficient in Spanish but I haven't taken two years of college or high school so eeeh.. I'm going to ask first.

Good call. I keep hearing about how strict they are and how the slightest mistake can disqualify you, so I did the same thing. There's no way I want to risk my whole application for just a handful of extra points. I'm so impatient for them to reply... I just want to get this application out of the way haha!

I only had a 54 :/ I had to retake my English and take the five unit microbiology to bring my score up, I applied just for the heck of it even though I knew I had no chance ( maybe one of the lucky for that are lottery) lol
