Hello all!

I just wanted to start a thread for all of the new grads that were accepted into the RN Versant program at San Joaquin Community Hospital. Congrats to all of us!! I am hoping to get to know some of my fellow coworkers before the program starts in August

Hi RunonFaith! Congratulations on being accepted!! What unit will you be working on? I just had an interview last week for med/surg and I am waiting to hear back.

Thanks! I was told that I would hear back from them the next day. How long did it take you to hear back?

I would call and follow up with them if it's been a week. I heard back the same day I interviewed

That's fast! It hasn't been a week yet but I will definitely follow up with them if I don't hear back soon.

I was offered a position yesterday on med/surg but I still have other potential offers that I am waiting on. And I am from the Bay Area.

Just curious, did you have to sign the contract right away when you accepted the offer?

Sorry for such a late response. I did not have to sign the contract right away and I still haven't signed anything but the offer letter and some general paperwork. Have you made a decision yet or are you still exploring your options?
