San Jacinto South LVN Acceptance

I'm so stoked! :yeah: I just received my email acceptance into San Jac south campus LVN program Summer start!! I'm so ready to get my Nursing career started. Did anyone else hear good news? I also applied to San Jacinto North Campus. Still waiting to hear back from them.

I just got into the North Campus as well!! Not sure which campus would be the best fit for me. I'm slightly closer to the south campus.

You may wish to consider that north classes are evening classes this summer.

Does anyone know where i can take my CPR classes? I read a post where it said that we have to take CPR/AED classes. I'm not sure where I can find the right class. I went to the American Heart Association link and they offered a lot of CPR classes.

I got my American Heart Association (CPR &AED) from Academy of Exceptional Healthcare Training off of West Bellfort in Houston.

hello. congrats on yalls acceptance. i am planning on applying for spring 2012 and i would like to know what they use to consider who gets in besides the hesi scores.

I believe they base acceptance solely on top Hesi Scores. You must submit all of the necessary items at the time of application (i.e. transcripts, immunization, cpr, etc) in order to apply.

Could anyone tell me how is the process to get the immunizations. the package that the school gave said that i have to get 3 hep B, varicella #1, #2. or titer (do i have to put 2 or 3 ) I went to the doctor to get prices about this injections and they told me that i just need 1 shot of varicella and 1 of MMR and the only one i need that requires 3 shots is the hepatitis B. also I would like to know if we have to take a drug test in the package that the doctor gave said that I need to take the labcorp coc drug screen. please can somebody help me with this information the school package said something and the one at the doctor said another. I am not sure what I need to get done.

I know that we have to pay for the drug screen on the 28th..and i think we will get more information then about it...the shots...Flu..Hep 1 and 2....and all the other ones you listed. You have not got those done yet?

Yay me too!! Orientation was great today and now I'm ready to get this program going..O did anyone have problems registering for classes??We can't register until next week because the system says we have to take Med Admin first but it's not offered until Fall...Congrats to all of us who made it!! :)

I had the same problem....but i did get to register for anatomy and nutrition! I am so excited!!!!!
