San Jacinto fall of 2021

The application process opens tomorrow! I am just wondering who is all applying. With covid happiness last year I am wondering if the pool will be lower.

Thank you that would be great if you can send the links! Like I said again I attend Lone Star so I don’t know much about San Jac.  I am kind of worried that I’ll get a B in A&P 2 which will hinder my chances of getting in.

At lone star they only look at A&P 1, english 1 and the HESI. I would have to make a 95 and higher on the HESI to get accepted into cy fair and kingwood so San Jacinto is my back up plan. Thank you for the links! I also have been trying to find the scoring sheet for San jacinto but can’t find it.

Also, do I have to finish all of my prereqs before the application? I’m taking mircobio and life/development next semester

You don't have to have them done prior to applying, but if you don't have a class you will loose the points for that class..... just Google san jac nursing coring rubric..... but it you go to the application it is in there.

I think you can get a 95 on the HESI. I got a 96 and it was probably because I didn’t pay attention to some questions. There were definitely some more I should have got right. But I understand the B situation, I got a C years ago in English which puts me out the running for Lone star(Got As In A&P 1/2 and Micro). Add up your points, they said someone got in with a 18 this Spring so I’d shoot for at least that or around 20, the more points the better.

Hello everyone in this thread, my name is Lynda and I was accepted into the program at Central campus for Spring 2021. If any of you get accepted there please let me know, I am selling my brand new lab pack and uniforms new with tags for a discounted price than what the actual store costs. I unfortunately cannot continue with the program due to family and financial problems. Goodluck to you as well! My stats were 25 points in the rubric, 98% HESI, and 3.7 GPA. Fingers crossed ??

That's a great score! You should get in no problem. I will let you know mine as soon as 8 finish these 2 classes ?
